Stratus Property Group Announces Carrollton, GA Redevelopment
Entire City Block to be Redeveloped Downtown
Carrollton, GA – Stratus Development Group announces the redevelopment of “The Shoppes at Rome Street”, a 40,000 square foot retail project on nearly 3 acres in the heart of downtown Carrollton, Georgia. The redevelopment will transform the property which was the first “retail center” ever built in Carrollton, bringing new retailers into the downtown district and will spur further development in the immediate area.
The City of Carrollton has been both proactive and deliberate with long term planning for its downtown (Adamson Square) district. Recent developments include The Amp, a covered 1000 seat amphitheater in the heart of downtown that features a full calendar of entertainment events. New breweries have sprung up in the downtown district including Local Ties Brewing Company, The Craft Rabbit Meadery, and Dream City Brewing Company (opening later this year) and recent city programming have included successful “Taste of Carrollton” and half-marathon events.
“We would like to thank the city of Carrollton for the opportunity to work together on this exciting project,” said Jeff Koon, President of Stratus Property Group.” Considering the geographic size and population of the trade area, we feel that downtown Carrollton has only just begun its revitalization.
The property is conveniently located at 415 Rome Street, just one block from “Adamson Square” shops and restaurants.
